ketamine-assisted emdr
Combining EMDR with a low dose of ketamine offers a new, gentle way to help your mind and body release what’s been holding you back.
Sometimes, healing isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about softening—finding a way to finally feel safe enough to let go.
Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy (KA-EMDR) is a gentle, research-supported approach designed to help you heal from painful experiences without having to relive them.
It combines EMDR therapy, a proven method for processing trauma and emotional wounds, with a low dose of ketamine, prescribed and overseen by a licensed medical provider. Together, they help quiet the inner storm—creating space for calm, clarity, and a renewed connection with yourself.
What Is Ketamine-Assisted EMDR?

How It Works
During a KA-EMDR session, you’ll take a very small, medically prescribed dose of ketamine. It won’t make you “trip” or leave your body—it simply helps calm your nervous system and open emotional pathways that may have felt closed for a long time.
While in this state of gentle openness, I will guide you through EMDR reprocessing. You stay awake, aware, and fully engaged—releasing the emotional charge of old patterns, so your brain and body can start learning new ways to feel safe.
(Note: I do not provide or administer the medication. Ketamine is always prescribed and supervised by a medical professional.)
Why It Can Be So Supportive
If you’ve ever felt trapped in a pattern—overreacting, shutting down, doubting yourself even when you “know better”—you’re not alone. These are survival patterns, not personal flaws.
Ketamine-Assisted EMDR helps you begin to shift those automatic responses by:
Gently calming fear and self-protection reflexes
Making it easier to access compassion and emotional truth
Supporting your brain in rewiring from survival mode to safety and self-trust
This isn’t about forcing change. It’s about healing at the pace your body and heart can handle—one layer at a time.
what clients are noticing
Many who’ve experienced this approach describe feeling:
Less anxious or reactive
More emotionally connected and grounded
A growing sense of lightness and relief
Less looping in worry or self-criticism
A stronger, steadier sense of self
While research continues to evolve, the feedback is clear: this blend of science and compassion is helping many women find a gentler way forward.
is it right for you?
If you’ve tried EMDR, but have a hard time breaking through and staying with the experience, KA-EMDR may be able to help. Some benefits include:
You remain awake, aware, and in control during each session
The process feels intentional, safe, and supportive
Low-dose sessions are shorter and more affordable than psychedelic treatments
Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy honors both your courage and your boundaries. It offers a path to healing that’s less about reliving pain—and more about rediscovering peace.
